Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) for thyroid nodules is well-known, effective, and safe treatment for treating benign thyroid nodules and recurrent thyroid cancers. Under ultrasound guidance, RF electrode generates heat and coagulate targeted tissue. For the thyroid RFA, the trans-isthmic approach and moving shot technique are two fundamental methods.

VIVA RF Generator
The VIVA RF Generator is designed to create the predictable and consistent ablation zone by using the optimized ablation modes for various nodules. It also has convenient and useful functions including to the easy operation structure and smart User Interface to provide the exact information related to procedure details which is able to be translated to computer for recording patient treatment data.
VIVA multi RF Generator
The VIVA multi RF Generator is designed to create the predictable and consistent ablation zone by using the optimized ablation modes for various nodules. star RF Electrode-Fixed
The star RF electrodes of fixed type are intended to be used in percutaneous, intraoperative and laparoscopic approaches in radiofrequency ablation procedures. Coolant circulation system of electrode maintains suitable impedance at the surface of electrode. It also prevents tissue adjacent to active tip from charring and helps to make a spherical ablation zone.

The VIVA RF electrode is single electrode which is designed to be used in multiple nodules. Traditional single electrodes make the fixed ablation volume, but it is able to make the varisized ablation volume by adjust an active tip.
star Bipolar RF Electrode
The current created from RF generator flows only through the tissue which is between the two poles on an electrode. With bipolar delivery, no current flows through the rest of the body, so no grounding or return pad is needed. Hence, Bipolar series of star RF electrode are secure against skin burn.
